GP Placement Day 2 and 3.
Day 2.
Giving injections are still good fun.
Talking to a patient with clinical depression, OCD, anxiety, diabetes mellitus type 2 and spinal degenerative disease was interesting.
Watched and helped with a pap smear; could have possibly turned me off obstetrics and gynecology forever.
Day 3.
Pretty happy I’m not going to be a podiatrist, feet are pretty disgusting.
The Newcastle Uni med student here with me is annoying.
Did a urine pregnancy test, which turned out negative; but found a mild case of UTI from the dip stick.
Elluminate worked well…………..
Took some photos out in the front yard to relax myself.
Yay.
