And we’re back!
It’s been quite a while since I’ve cracked the tumblr open. About a year and a half perhaps.
It’s been quite a year and a half:
- I’ve been to Tamworth, spending my 4th year of medical training there
- I’ve been to Africa (in 2010 actually)
- I’ve revisited my two past jobs (Santa Photography and David Jones)
- I’ve acquired my own shiny iPad
- I’ve re-introduced myself to online gaming ala StarCraft
- I’ve acquired a mini-DJ deck to dip my toes in the world of DJing
- I’ve actually taken a break from photography (though I’m itching to get back into it…)
- I’ve met so many new and amazing people
- I’ve lost touch with a few others
- And more importantly, I’ve learnt and grown more in the past year and half than i have ever in my life
Time to look forward to the new year, the year of the dragon and my final year of medical school and arguably the most important of my life yet, both personal and professionally. Not only is this year important for me, but important for so many other people and companies in the world out there.
For me, this year looks to be the most exciting year for technology (especially with CES being underway and amazing new gadgets being introduced left, right and centre), can’t wait to see what’s in store for the consumer/prosumer world!
(Also I noticed I’ve used the word “I’ve” many times in this post. So I thought I’d throw up this dedication to the new knight of the British Empire, Sir Jonathan Ive)
